We now offer appraisals and values on Tell City Chair Co. furniture.  The cost for a single item (example one chair) is $15.00.  The appraisal includes a document that states the following.

·        Description of your item (measurements, weights, finish, and pattern number)

·        The date(s) of production

·        Recommended resale and insurance value. 

·        Original wholesale cost 

To have your single item appraised you must first e-mail us at questions@williamtellantiques.com with some contact information for us to get in touch with you.  You will need to provide photos of you item for us to see the condition of your item.  If you can provide all of the information that is found on the product label attached (often a blue and white label located on bottom or back) to your product we should be able to provide some addition dating information. These numbers are important for identification of your item. The Pattern #, Finish # and the date code located below the finish #.  

Once we have all the information, we will conduct the appraisal on your item.  Upon completion of the appraisal we will contact you with the information that we have gathered.  Before any information can be given we must first receive payment by check, money order, or credit card.  Once payment is complete you will receive a signed document that states the above conditions.  

A couple things to beware of, based on your particular region, the value of your Tell City Chair Co. furniture may vary.  The resale value is an estimated value of what your item should sell for.
