Coca Cola Building Tell City, Ind
2008
2009
This
building was once owned by the Swiss Colonization Society and was used for meetings and gatherings during the first few years
of settlement and was called Schweizer Halle. This building was extensively used as temporary quarters by arriving families
until a permanent home could be built or purchased. In later years it was acquired and used as a bottling plant for the Tell
City Brewery. Still later it was used as a pop-bottling plant and then it became the home of the Coca-Cola Bottling Co. in
1925. This building was used as storage for Coca-Cola since 1947. On December
30th 2008 I purchased the building and have began the process of remodeling the building. Currently the Coca Coal
sign has been restored and brick work is nearly completed and painting the entire building as started.
The building is now a warehouse for William Tell Antiques, Tell City Chair Furniture.
